Who operates Maybe.
Maybe is developed and operated by Embermotors UG, a company registered in Germany (Registergericht Offenbach am Main, HRB 577178). Full details are in the Impressum.
What this website offers.
Today, maybe.trade offers information and a free demonstration. The demo uses a simulated play balance over live public market data. No deposits, no payouts, no real-money trading takes place on this site.
How real-money products are structured.
Where Maybe products involve real positions, they are executed on third-party regulated venues — for example CFTC-regulated event-contract exchanges — in an account the user opens and owns at that venue, subject to that venue's own KYC, eligibility and jurisdiction rules. Maybe provides the interface; it does not execute, clear or custody anything itself.
Where outcomes come from.
Every outcome is a real market price from public, independently verifiable sources — the same prices professional traders act on. Nothing is generated by us: no random number generator, no house on the other side of a trade. Our revenue is transparent software fees, independent of user results.
Money and data.
We never hold customer funds. Bank connections, where offered, are read-only, run through licensed open-banking providers, and can be revoked at any time. Personal data is handled per our Datenschutzerklärung.
Jurisdictions.
Maybe is currently under development for markets where these structures are legal. The first target is the United States, where short-horizon event contracts trade on CFTC-regulated venues such as Kalshi and on regulated prediction markets such as Polymarket US. Product availability follows the rules of each user's jurisdiction and each venue's eligibility requirements; features that are not permitted in a given market are not offered there. Reward-based product modes involve no user stake at all.
