← Maybe

Fairness, by design.

The short version: outcomes come from public markets anyone can check, we earn fees instead of your losses, and our business is interface design for real markets.

Anyone can verify every result.

Nothing on Maybe is decided by us. Every outcome settles on public, independent sources: five-minute Bitcoin markets resolve on Chainlink price oracles published on a public blockchain, and event contracts settle on audited reference indices published by the venues themselves.

That means you never have to trust our word for a result. Take any round, look up the same public data, and check it. If we wanted to cheat, we couldn't — we don't produce the numbers.

No house. No edge. Fees only.

Many products in this space earn money when their users lose. Maybe is built the other way: we never take a position against you, so there is no house edge by construction. Positions are matched on open markets where participants trade with each other, at prices the market sets.

Our pricing model is transparent fees — a small, disclosed charge for using the interface. We earn the same whether you win or lose, so we have no reason to want you to lose.

What we are — and what we're not.

Maybe is an interface company. Our core idea is simple: trading interfaces were designed for professionals in the 1990s, and a generation that grew up with games deserves better. We take real market mechanics — positions, live prices, settlement — and redesign the way they look, feel and behave.

We are a software company building trading interfaces. We don't operate games of chance: outcomes come from real market prices, never from random number generators. We don't hold customer funds, and we never take a position against a user. Where real-money trading is involved, it takes place on third-party regulated venues, in accounts users open and own there, under each venue's rules and eligibility requirements.

An honest, small project.

Maybe is built as an independent project by a small team. The demo on this site uses a play balance over live public market data — no real money, no sign-up, nothing to lose. We ship openly, publish how everything settles, and would rather grow slowly with people who like the idea than pretend to be something we're not.

Verify it yourself

Five-minute BTC rounds settle on Chainlink's public BTC/USD data streams; event contracts settle on the venue's published reference index (e.g. CF Benchmarks BRTI). Both are public — any round can be re-checked against them, by anyone, at any time.
